What players ask
What is the difference between single and double elimination?
In single elimination one defeat ends the tournament for the team. In double elimination the first defeat drops you into a losers bracket: it takes two losses to go out. It runs longer, but one bad match does not end everything.
What is a round robin?
A format where every team faces every other team. The final standing reflects all the matches rather than one knockout game: it is the longest format, but the most representative of actual level.
Which tournament formats are available?
From 1v1 to 5v5: solo brackets in arena, duo entries on the wingman maps, and 5v5 tournaments in MR12 with map veto.
Can you follow a tournament without playing in it?
Yes. Every tournament has a public page: the bracket, the registered teams and the results, updated as matches are played.
