CS2 tournaments on UpFrag
Single-elimination Counter-Strike 2 tournaments, played on our dedicated servers with in-house anticheat. Team registration, map veto between captains, bracket followed live. Prizes are paid in UP-Coins, convertible to skins from the shop.
How a tournament runs
- 01
Team registration
The captain creates a permanent team, invites players, then enters it into the tournament. A team is built over several days and reused from one tournament to the next, without tying anyone down. Each member pays their share of the entry fee if there is one; a tournament can also be free.
- 02
Check-in
When the organiser requires it, each team confirms attendance in the minutes before the start. No-shows are removed from the bracket and refunded, so nobody is left waiting.
- 03
Bracket and veto
Teams are seeded by rating, then placed in a single-elimination tree. Before each match, both captains take turns removing maps from the tournament pool.
- 04
Dedicated server
A server is started for every match, configured for the mode being played and restricted to its players. The score is reported automatically at the end and the bracket advances.
- 05
Prizes
When the tournament ends, the pot is split according to the announced placement table and credited to every member of the winning teams.
Available formats
A tournament reuses one of the platform's modes, with its server configuration, round count and map pool.
Entry fees and prizes
A tournament can be free with a prize funded by the platform, paid with a pot built from entry fees, or both. The amount shown on each tournament already accounts for the commission. If a tournament is cancelled, entry fees are refunded to the wallets they came from.
Requirements
You need an account verified by email and phone, a readable Steam profile and a minimum amount of playtime on Counter-Strike 2. The same requirements unlock ranked matchmaking.
