CS2 arena: 1v1, 2v2, 3v3 ranked.
Ranked Counter-Strike 2 arena matchmaking on dedicated maps: short rounds, pure aim, matches that chain fast. Every game counts for your Glicko-2 rating and earns UPC, convertible into CS2 skins.
Three arena formats
1V1 DUEL
You against one opponent, nothing else. The purest aim duel: no trades, no utility spam, your crosshair decides.
2V2 ARENA
Duo queue with a teammate. Crossfires, refrags and fast calls on compact maps.
3V3 ARENA
Small-roster tactics: enough players for set plays, short enough rounds to keep the pace high.

What players ask
What is Arena mode in CS2?
Ranked small-squad matchmaking: 1v1, 2v2 or 3v3 on dedicated maps, with short rounds back to back. The format rewards aim and duel-taking rather than five-man executes.
Can you play ranked 1v1 in Counter-Strike 2?
Yes. UpFrag's 1v1 duel is a full ranked mode: every match moves your Glicko-2 rating, exactly like a 5v5. Valve's official matchmaking does not offer ranked 1v1.
Does Arena count towards the same rank as 5v5?
Yes, a single Glicko-2 rating covers every mode. Your rank follows you from 1v1 to 5v5, and the points gained or lost are broken down after each match.
Do you need a teammate to play Arena?
Not for 1v1. In 2v2 and 3v3 you can queue alone or with friends: matchmaking fills the team and never splits a group that is already formed.
